MRV
Multi-role vehicle

The concept of MRV evolved from extensive evaluation of future requirements
for remotely operated underwater vehicles.
The MRV is not just one vehicle but potentially any number built on the
modular concept of a core vehicle to which options are added only as necessary.
Power, thrust, through frame lift and equipment fit can be met without resorting
to a redesign of the vehicle system.
The MRV is based around a family of core vehicles which provide the perfect
platforms on which to build the optional equipment for a particular role.
Basically a framework equipped with bouancy, propulsion system, communication
and control system. A level of electrical and hydraulic system fit that makes
the addition of optional equipment simple.
